Key Criteria for Choosing the Right Flexo Printing Slotter
Maximize your return on investment by evaluating your production needs against machine specifications.
Production Volume & Speed
Determine your daily output requirements. High-speed systems like our 924 line run up to 260 m/min, ideal for high-volume factories, while entry-level models suit small batch runs.
Flute & Cardboard Types
Ensure the machine supports your flute specifications. Our lines process A, B, C, E, F flutes and multi-wall combinations (e.g., A/B, B/C, A/B/C) up to 13mm thick.
Automation & Setup Time
Look for PLC/servo-driven touch screen controls (e.g., Delta/Siemens). Features like "one-key order change" drastically minimize setup times between jobs.

Engineering Precision & Manufacturing Process
How Cangzhou Baikuo ensures long-term accuracy and structural durability of our carton machinery.
Unit Structure & Lubrication
The entire machine utilizes large helix angle helical gears. This design reduces noise, increases gear contact ratio, and guarantees smooth transmission accuracy. All drive gears are manufactured from 20CrMnTi alloy steel, precision ground, case-hardened, and lubricated via a closed spray system with oil level balance regulators.
For safety, units lock pneumatically with master locking devices. The main motor cannot start if the units are unlocked. Conversely, units cannot unlock while the main motor is running. Zero-positioning systems reduce cardboard waste during job setups.
Component Treatment Processes
- Side Wallboards: Cast iron → Artificial aging → Rough planing → Fine planing → CNC machining center processing → Inspection.
- Gears: Forging → Rough turning → Quenching & Tempering → Gear hobbing → Heat treatment → Grinding → High-precision gear grinding → Testing.
- Rollers & Shafts: Pipe boring → Rough turning → Static balance → Annealing → Fine turning → Dynamic balance → Grinding → Hard chrome plating.
Advanced Feeding Unit: Non-Crush Lead Edge System
Ensure precise sheet registration without damaging the structural integrity of your corrugated board.
Our feeding unit features a 3-servo non-crush lead edge feeding system. The three rows of feeding rollers operate independently, enabling tracked feeding that improves speed and registration accuracy. This allows the smooth transport of thin boards as well as E-flute single-wall sheets.
A high-pressure centrifugal fan with frequency-controlled volume adjustment handles warped boards. The side guides are motorized and adjust automatically via PLC input. A brush and blower dust removal system eliminates debris on the cardboard surface to optimize print quality.

Vacuum Transfer Printing Unit
Achieve high-precision multi-color registration with dynamic suction boxes and ceramic anilox rolls.
Printing Rollers & Phases
- Anilox Rollers: Standard configuration features ceramic anilox rollers (LPI ranges from 220 to 280) paired with high-quality rubber rollers.
- Vacuum Transfer: Cardboard moves on wear-resistant ceramic-coated aluminum alloy wheels, preventing slipping and maintaining register within ±0.5mm.
- Servo Phase Adjustment: Siemens/Delta servo-controlled planetary gear structures allow 360-degree rotation adjustments during operation.
- Plate Cleaning Memory: The machine remembers the original print position, automatically returning to it after plate washing.
The dynamic vacuum transfer box features segmented dampers that automatically adjust the suction area according to the width of the cardboard sheet, saving energy and stabilizing transport.
Slotting & Die-Cutting Units
Combining heavy-duty mechanical design with digital controls for precise carton shaping.
Eight-Shaft Double Creaser Slotting Unit
Equipped with a 4+1 knife configuration (4 slotting blades, 1 corner cutting blade) and double-creasing wheels. The creasing wheels are covered in imported polyurethane to prevent scoring or rupturing the liner board. All gap adjustments are motorized with digital readouts on the 7-inch touch screen interface.

Precision Die-Cutting Unit
Features an independent servo drive to prevent print ghosting. The anvil roller moves axially by ±50mm to distribute wear across the German Depar polyurethane covers. A speed compensation system matches the anvil roller speed to the die cylinder, ensuring cutting accuracy even after the polyurethane covers are trimmed and thinned.

Down-Stacking Folder Gluer & Automatic Strapping
Complete your production line with high-speed folding, precise gluing, and automatic bundling.
Our folder gluer section features a Siemens PLC control system and a 4.4KW main motor. High-friction belts fold the board, and a stainless steel wheel applies cold glue. The pneumatic diaphragm pump keeps glue circulating to prevent drying or misses. The down-stacking counter ejector uses servo control to prevent scuffing on printed or laminated surfaces.
The down-stacking unit counts and bundles cartons in batches of 5 to 30 sheets. Squaring plates correct fish-tailing before outputting the bundle to the strapping machine.

Quality Control & Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Our standardized testing parameters ensure the machine meets your production requirements before shipment.
Cardboard Selection Criteria
For accurate testing, the corrugated board must meet standard commercial quality levels. The warp ratio should not exceed 0.015. This ratio represents the height difference across the board width, as detailed below:
| Board Width | Max Warp Height | Warp Coefficient |
|---|---|---|
| 300 mm | 4.5 mm | 0.015 |
| 600 mm | 9.0 mm | 0.015 |
| 900 mm | 12.0 mm | 0.015 |
Acceptance Accuracy Benchmarks
- Production Speed: The line runs at 60% of design speed for maximum/minimum board sizes, and reaches 80% speed (approx. 200+ m/min) for mid-size sheets.
- Printing Registration: The first color registers within ±1.0 mm from the lead edge. Subsequent colors register within ±0.5 mm relative to the first color.
- Slotting Accuracy: Slotting and creasing depth registration maintains a tolerance of ±1.5 mm along the running direction.
- Die-Cutting Accuracy: Rotary die-cut profiles maintain a tolerance within ±1.0 mm.
